National Public Health Service — Greater Wellington

National Public Health Service — Greater Wellington is responsible for preventing illness and disease, protecting population health, and promoting wellbeing and hauora.

It works alongside the communities of Wellington, Kāpiti, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

Mental health services

The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) provides a range of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services in the greater Wellington region. We provide both inpatient care and services in the community.
